Lord Ryry 3,367
I couldn't sleep and started to feel really upset so I expressed myself through drawing, at 1 am. I've never been affected so much by anything like this before. RIP to all the victims. My heart aches.
Daenerys 6,274
I could barely handle it at work. Thinking about this travesty has weighed so heavy on my heart. I had friends there (who are survivors) but just the thought that they're in a hospital, that others are dead, that there is no where safe in this world is such a weight. It's so disheartening. The ripple effect it has taken on our LGBT community is so bad, we're having our vigil tonight and no one is looking forward to it. I love you guys, I don't know you personally but you've all made this forum so fun and so light. Rest in peace you 49 Angels. Tonight I sing Beyonce - Heaven to you, I hope you can hear it. Quasi 11,034
I just can't comprehend what the families are going through, and how so many beautiful lives can be lost all at once. May they rest in peace. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas.

I felt upset about for example the Paris attack ofc but this attack wow, it really affected in a deeper way. I think it's because those other attacks could have happened to anybody. Where this it was specifically directed to the gay community. It could have been one of us. Chance that it could have been one of us was increased by two. It feels much more hateful, also because June is to celebrate the gays Feel you boo, it's normal to be sad anyway. Here, accept this hug Let us not get too scared of these crazy people bc they want us scared. Let's keep strong and put our heads up. I don't have that many gay friends around me lately. I told two straight girlfriends about it and ofc they we're telling me that it was tragic and sad that this happened and stuff. It was so weird thinking that I know that for them this attack didn't feel the same way as we the gay community felt this one. So it was nice reading this and don't feel alone about it.
