AHS S6 Theme is NOT 'Orphanage' or 'Prison'

So - not space, not prison, not orphanage, not cruise, not Murder House, not hotel, not Freak Show, not a Coven, not an Asylum.

The only thing I can think of is "Camp", "Cult" or "Desert" like The Hills Have Eyes.

yeah likely but those hints are usually quite obscure, there was a reoccurring top hat in season 4 which was related to the movie of the same name and... wait for it  apparently the song written for the movie was Cheek To Cheek. That was the big hint, I doubt we'll figure out season 6 hints before it's revealed.

I like the fact that we know nothing about it. The details revealed even before the shooting starts ruin the experience. Ryan Muerphy took the bad habit to reveal too much and promise too much. Nothing is ever as deep as he wants it to be, though. When Hotel was announced, I immediately stopped following the news about the series until the first episodes aired. I was disappointed either way, but it still is a better experience to not know much about when you start watching it.

Boarding Schoop or Camp are the most likely. Angela Bassett said something about Sarah Paulson (I think) being her 'boss' aka Sarah could be the principal/headmaster and Angela plays a teacher? 

Hotel mentioned schools a lot (Lachlan and Scarlett went to the Thatcher school, if I recall) and we saw scenes of children in a School learning about witches who turn into vampires 

 

the head of FX also said this season would be Set in two time periods (past and present) but principally in the present. Ryan also said this season, and possibly season 7 have something to do with the "innocence of children" and that it would be darker and 'less opulent" than Hotel was! 

It's pretty much pointing to a school based theme. Not an orphanage, but a school. Whether that be a boarding school or a normal school we don't know. But the Thatcher school that they particularly mentioned has existed since 1889.

I remember that hahaha I wonder if that was really on purpose though lol, could easily be a coincidence that movie's song was Cheek To Cheek.

Won't this season be set in the past since Hotel was set in the present? I'm really hoping for a coldwar/Area 51/space race era theme if they go back to the past. (I'd love for Ryan to go to the future one season for AHS: Space, even if he said he wouldn't do a space story. He said Gaga wasn't really a vampire and well we all saw how that played out  ).

It's one of the biggest seasons hints so i think it was on purpose, at one point Elsa also called her freaks as "little monsters" too lol so they were really just hinting Gaga's presence in the season mostly. I think the top hat was also somehow related to hotels but I don't remember how. 

And it's confirmed the next season will be in two time periods like Hotel but mostly in present sort of also like Hotel. It's weird cause they usually switch it around every season. Murder House (present) - Asylum (past) - Coven (present) - FreakShow (past) - Hotel (present)..

I'm just hoping that they won't rely on Gaga too much and maybe let someone else be the main character, it's also supposedly somehow related to "weird kids" but it's been confirmed it wont be Orphanage (which i'd actually want to see as a season) so idk how that will connect. They like to mix a few hardly relatable themes together usually, so whatever it is it's probably not going to be very predictable. 

We'll have to wait so long for the season to air and now that we're speaking about it I really just can't wait any longer for it to air
