Luiz 4,253 Posted June 14, 2016 Share Posted June 14, 2016 The elusive chief of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has reportedly been killed in air strikes carried out by the coalition forces led by the United States. According to a report published on Monday in the Turkish daily Yeni Safak, which cited Arabic media as its source, Baghdadi was killed in air raids conducted in Syria on Sunday. The daily said local media was citing the news agency al-Amaq, which leans towards the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS. "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by coalition air strikes on Raqqa on the fifth day of Ramadan," the daily quoted the agency as saying in a statement released on behalf of ISIS to report that the self-proclaimed "Caliph" had died. There've been many scholars pointing out that all this killing of leaders is actually a detriment to our future safety: the younger members of these groups are the ones who are actually bloodthirsty and don't give a rat's ass anymore about recovering political stability even though a lot of these terrorist groups were founded originally as a specific political protest against a national (vs. international) problem. If these younger ones, who are coming from all over the world now, start leading, we're not better off. Stupid and unstable people can also cause a lot more damage. And zero possibility of conversation/surrender and before anyone laughs, those options were actually there a while ago. The only road to defeating those guys is more violence, which will breed more violence. Every airstrike means hundreds of new recruits, that's just the truth of the matter. Stupid and unstable people can cause alot more danger but for the short term only and will be easily defeated I think.. this is not a stupid game though, these people already have plans for who will take after Albaghdadi. If you strike ISIS only, no new recruits will join but if America attacks all of Syria and Iraq as a country and manipulating and using its land with plans to divide it and attacking its government while continuing its horrible foreign affairs, then yes people will join ISIS the more it attacks.
