She didn't make it about herself, she sounded very genuine. I have some HQ photos, but I can't post them just yet (they're for work)

ReidOne 12,427
I can't stop crying watching this. Yesterday, I thought that the best way she could honor the victims was to perform a song. But tonight, I realize that nothing could be more powerful than simply reading their names and honoring their lives. Let's stop making celebrities out of these attackers and start putting the spotlight of those whose lives were cut short --- people who were simply living and celebrating life. They are the ones we should be remembering.
Peroxide 9,202
She is so loving and truly down to earth, she's inspired me to let go of anger and to realize the more important matters of life. I pray for the survivors for what they had to go through and the families who've lost their innocent loved ones who wanted nothing more but to love one another in harmony. ReidOne 12,427
BuzzFeed has some great articles out today about the victims. I was particularly touched by this one, about a couple who were engaged and their families have come together and decided to hold a joint funeral and have them buried side by side. I can hardly type this through my tears right now --- how beautiful. https://www.buzzfeed.com/mbvd/rest-in-peace-together?utm_term=.obl2QQQg0#.qg4kzzzWw I was also deeply moved watching this last Facebook video post from a single mother who was at the club with her gay son. She posted footage of a gay couple dancing joyously to salsa music in the hours before the massacre. Just watch this video. And think about how HARD these folks struggled to find the strength to be out and proud and go out dancing together. How could anyone see this and feel hate? https://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcneal/an-orlando-shooting-victim-shared-a-video-of-people-dancing
IamChromatica 2,025
As a population, we seem to undermine death. We see it in the movies, in the news, but to truly replace ourselves in loss and recklessness becomes a battle at heart. Lets send love and stand together with the families that suffered the core of this tragedy and every other.
