Authorities say the incident was gang-related, and White was not an intended target. The unknown gunman was reportedly aiming for a group of men sitting in the area, White’s mother, Gola, recalled. “I believe that the bullets were for them, but bullets don’t have no name, bullets don’t have no direction,” she said. “When my daughter stood up she got hit under her heart, and she’s gone."
