A lot of people said that the tracks are amazing, even that it will be the hottest pop album of the decade. So, that holds up my hope...

As someone who loves Madonna, too, I like to compare Gaga's success with Madonna's (in a logic way, ofc that I don't compare M's 30 yrs careers and Gaga's 8). Madonna had a lot of flop singles, was forgotten, but when the new single came out, she was the ****ing queen of pop yet again. (Ray of Light after Bedtime Stories and Erotica, COADF after American Life, MDNA after Hard Candy)

That gives me hope:D

I do the same! Madonna always took 3-4 years between albums, so I don't see how Gaga is supposedly so late or whatever.. I'm actually very happy that she takes her time, and I trust that she and her team are far more suitable and knowledgeable to support her interests than what some thirsty fans are!

Everyone it's time to stop. It's time to stop putting pressure on her as if we control a direction. It's her expression, it's not a Walmart massed produced toy that's made in a factory. I understand that there's confusion, hurt with the recent tragedy, and a notion of what happened. We're all guilty of some type of negativity at some point, but for every negative thing we say, positivity is slowly lost. Instead of saying we want this, we want that, just encourage her, and put positivity out there. I've been guilty of saying statements that were less than beautiful out of the Hillary tweet, and being so emotionally raw with the recent tradedy. Don't go down that road, don't regret saying something out of knee jerk reactions. We might be consealed behind an Internet cloak, but everyone still sends out energy with words out out there. We can turn this all around, we can make a real change of impact. Why worry about something we don't know anything about? Let's be more positive, and see the change.

Gaga has a very busy schedule, she really wants the world to hear her new music, but creating an album that she'll be proud of takes a lot of time, and she has so many other projects she has to work on, including keeping her sanity. That's probably why we see her doing therapeutic things all the time, she might be under so much stress, but we don't know because she doesn't show that side to us and we need to respect her for that. She's a strong person with a complex mind, just like the rest of us.

We have been supporting her for a long time. Her fanbase are the ones that buy all her products and support her.

It's not like we did her a favour though. She made us interested in her music with her talent. We just "used" her

I get that you may be concerned for her career and financial success/public perception, but it really doesn't matter. She's a human being; deciding to share her music with the world is a choice the same way buying her music and supporting her is our choice. We don't get to demand or feel entitled to anything beyond what she feels like giving out to us. She doesn't owe us anything.

Exactly. And Madonna had a blackout from the music industry for 4 years (1994-1998), and what happened? She released Frozen and Ray of Light and brought her back on the throne. Some people may say that Madonna GP friendly, but f*ck No, she's not. They both built up their careers with controversy.

It's actually an interesting similarity, when Madonna released Ray of Light she had gone through a "She's over" era (ARTPOP) to an acoustic album (Cheek To Cheek, I know it's not an acoustic album but both of these albums kinda served for the same purpose) and acting (American Horror Story).. Ray of Light is also kinda *analog* in a way, just like what LG5 is supposed to be. I don't really see their album cycles as similar artistically but they definitely have similarities when it comes to people's reception commercially and the overall impact on their career. Noticing these similarities makes things look very promising for Gaga and her next album! :excited2::woohoo::woot:

This is not a hate thread. I am just expressing how I feel.

What is she thinking right now and Bobby! She is ruining her chances of a comeback. If we don't get a successful album, we won't get a big tour. Honestly we should have at least some details. Each day that goes by, the GP forget her even more (most already forgot about her). All that February and March hype is gone and it looks like we won't get the album for a while. What is she thinking, is she trying to sabotage her career? Because her decisions are showing she doesn't want this anymore. I was very confident she was going to have a huge comeback, but she is making it harder for herself by taking forever. I am getting worried about her career and this fanbase, its like we are splitting. Gaga tells us no details at all and we are confused all the time. She should at least tell us something or give us an update, its taking forever. I really hope we don't lose her because there was no pop star like Gaga:(

I went to her first tour in a small venue. It was perfect. I also saw her playing at a gay club months before The Fame was released and before JD became huge. She was on fire. :firega: I became a fan that night. If she plays smaller venues IMO who cares. She brings it in smaller venues just as much as bigger ones.

Little managers whining once again when they honestly know 0 **** about management and how music industry works. You should all send her your resume and convince her that you're better than Bobby.

But please stop this boring threads, you're making the whole site boring by "polluting" the feeds. Why not create an official whining thread so y'all go there and discuss without posting the exact same threads every other day?

Details and popularity and so called comebacks after not releasing an album for only 2 years don't matter. If a fan can't wait more than a couple years between albums, they aren't really fans, of course as fans we want new music quickly but it's so silly these days how we classify every album an artist releases after a break a "comeback", comebacks are things like someone who was big 10 years ago releasing a new album after 10 years, not someone taking a couple years to write an album. The public and fans are so impatient and taken in by what media says about artists; everyone needs to calm down and stop caring so much about public/critic opinion.
