I stanned SO HARD so Evanescence before I made the switch to Gaga during their quiet period in 2011! :excited2:

I was a very active member on their fan forums, Evthreads, before it closed down. Ahhh the days of my youth. I adored Amy so much and that album helped me so much

And then, when I was over wallowing in my own sadness every day to feel better, an album of intricate, powerful, anthems about the journey of life, self acceptance, and strength came my way just at the right time, and I turned into a monster so fast. Now It's become a common knowledge to my sub conscious that I was born this way.

I'm always excited to see Evanescence mentioned here! These two fanbases don't cross over very much.

The Open Door will forever have a special place in my heart

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

You're missing a few singles. Their first and last albums are ****ing masterpieces.

Omg I LOVED them. They were all I used to listen to. I own all their albums including Anywhere But Home (Live)

Finally feeling free for the night, I got no worries. Finally got a claim on my life, baby, c'est la vie. ☄️

Daenerys

The Open Door is such a beautiful dark album. I love how heavy some of the songs are Lacrymosa, Only One, Your Star.. Ugh! They're so good!

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen

They're so deep and gooey like chocolate lava cake. And even after hundreds of listens, I'd still hear a background vocal or little sound in the mix that I'd never heard before! It's quite a masterpiece in my opinion. Full of layer upon layer of thoughtful sound placement.  I think I'm gonna have a TOD night tonight... :excited2:

these are the only ones that charted

While others were released, they didn't have enough success to chart
