I love her and had no problem with her supporting Hillary.

However, her tweet was insensitive, but she realised it and deleted it. So no bad blood here.

In my messy era.

Oh my God, have you been here for the last eight years of Obama's presidency? If one of the most liberal presidents that the United States has ever had can't achieve anything with regard to stricter gun laws, what makes you think anybody else has a chance? Congress will always overrule him because the arms industry = lots of money. America will never change its attitude to gun laws as long as people keep buying them in droves. Australia and the UK managed to ban them because they're not corrupt and morally bankrupt countries. Are you so quick to forget that the USA is the same country that went to war and killed its own people over oil/money?

If you think it is "really that simple" then you are kidding yourself. If the murders of American children aren't enough to change Congress's minds, what the actual hell makes you think Hillary fvcking Clinton has the power to do anything?

This is because the congress is republican majority, if democrats take back the house and senate (which they could this year), then we will see more progress on the issue.

But she didn't really "communicate about how our leaders can stop violence". As if you can do that in a tweet :rip: If you feel so strongly about that, Gaga, then gather your thoughts about gun violence and express it in a productive way that can contribute to some positive change, like posting an open letter on LM.com again. Posting "#VoteHillary to make it all better" does not apply however :poot:

Is LM.com still a thing?

Lmao the presidency isn't the only thing you can vote for. Have you ever heard of a midterm election? You know, where you ELECT CONGRESS? kdjfsla;jfdklsa

I can't take most of the reactions on this site seriously anymore. I think for me, it started when several members who complained about ARTPOP's sales admitted that they never bought the album, and the same bull**** has manifested itself in various ways since then, usually in this form:

1. "I'm so over Gaga. She's not the same person. She's so boring now. I just don't feel her anymore. I haven't been excited about anything since BTW. She's let me down so many times. She really needs to think about her fanbase more, etc. etc. etc."

2. [literally ANYTHING Gaga-related happens]

3. "OMG YASSS QUEEN! MY FAVORITE 4-EVER! TALENT ALWAYS WINS! WHEN WILL UR BASIC ASS FAVES?"

4. [One month later] "I'm so over Gaga. She's not the same person. She's so boring now. I just don't feel her anymore. I haven't been excited about anything since BTW. She's let me down so many times. She really needs to think about her fanbase more, etc. etc. etc."

I don't know whether to be irritated or simply laugh at the ludicrousness.
