The majority of US Muslims support replacing the Consitituion with sharia law and for some reason you're shocked that this happened. I for one use common sense and saw it coming. It's just a matter of time before the next Muslim extremist attacks, and I for one and sick of living under the fear of a Islamic attacker. When I go into a crowd, that is who I'm afraid of. Did they support capital punishments or sharia law as in laws of marriage, divorce, inheritance etc. which some other religions in the U.S. already follow? Show me the specifics. There's nothing we can do except for being vigilant. However, I find it extremely problematic that so many (especially liberal) people refuse to admit that Islam has a problem. They only say that these are fringe extremists and they don't represent any religion, when in reality we can look at any muslim-majority country and see that they have draconian and bigoted societies. This isn't about terrorists at this point. The leaders of the Islamic world also support the death penalties for gays. No christian country does that. The only time I've heard a liberal admit that Islam has a violence problem is when they say "Yeah, well the Christians did the Crusades a few hundred years ago and that was violent too." It's flawed logic at best, and dangerously ignorant at worst. I get all my public opinion polls from Pew. You can look up muslim support for Sharia law, and it's appalling to be frank.
