MJHolland 12,725
Yet again, he refuses to call this radical islamic terrorism even those his security team was saying the man pledged allegiance to Al Bagdadi and shouted Alla U Akbar when we went on his rampage . Our president is truly a shame to the United States of America.

The earliest reports were saying he praised the ISIS leader right before he opened fired, yet our President refused to even mention the words Islam or Muslim or radical islamic terror in his speech. That is shameful.

That is shameful. Well the president can't jump to conclusions. The reports could have been inaccurate. When the proof came, it was concluded to be a terrorist attack and the proper response was made. It wasn't about being politically correct. It was about being factually correct. How is he calling it a terror attack but not an islamic terror attack? Every report was saying it was both. What information is he getting that said this terror attack was led by anything other than Islam and its homophobic hate it spreads?

I dunno. Probably didn't want to be divisive and play into Trump's hands? It's not like they've called terrorist acts committed by Christians in the name of Christianity as Christian Terrorist attacks either. It's one thing to acknowledge it. It's a whole other thing to name-call it as president. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

Americans have to go out every day into crowds and be afraid of being attacked by a MUSLIM terrorist, not christians ones. We deserve to have a president who calls it like it is and don't play politics when they tell us the FACTS about a situation like this.

The President of the USA has to be careful with what he says. If the President of the USA outright calls it an Islamic terrorist attack, ISIS can use it for their own agendas. AlexanderLevi gave you examples of Christian terrorism. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

They expressed anti-government sentiments. Had little to nothing to do about religions, and many would argue that the KKK was not motivated by religion but by racism. The Bible doesn't condone racist and suicide murders. The Quran does.

The issue is whether the followers are able to disassociate with that mentality. At present, it seems to be mostly relegated to Islam and some adherent's literal interpretation of its texts that's for sure. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
