Probably, but that don't mean we can't point it who those attackers could be. And saying it could be Islamists is not so far off considering how many Islamist attacks happened the last two years.

Since it's in the us (and specifically Florida) I wouldn't be suprised if it were Christians though.

The SWAT Team has made contact with the suspect, and authorities are getting ready to bring remaining victims and hostages out of the building for medical attention and questioning. It is unclear to whether or not the suspect has been apprehended or killed, at this time.

The SWAT Team has detonated a Breach Charge, in an attempt to disarm the suspect. Perimeter units behind are being told to “stand down.” No confirmation if authorities have made contact with the suspect.

Fire and Rescue have been requested immediately to assist with an office with gunshot injuries.

Authorities are reporting multiple shots fired in the North Bathroom of the club, and that the scene is not secure. Orlando Fire Department are being told to take cover, as well as all other rescue units. Police and SWAT teams are being told to take cover behind their vehicles immediately.

(If this is an act out of religion) I really don't get why religious people are always so hateful against the gay community. Well, I know that it says in every holy book that homosexuality is a sin, but still: why all the hate? What did we ever do wrong to always receive so much hate?

My god, this is really hitting home with me despite the fact I've never been there. To me, gay clubs are a safe space where I go to escape world world, and to think that this is going on is really upsetting. The fact that it's pride month is even worse.

The holy books don't even say explicit anything against gays, which it make all even more tragic. and even if they do why is that more important than those verses that condemn killing

SUSPECT HAS BEEN KILLED BY AUTHORITIES. Scene is being secured.

SWAT Team is checking the building for bombs. Multiple trauma patients are being transported out of the club in Fire Trucks, as all available ambulances have been sent out. Emergency triages have been set up all over town, to handle victims.
