People have done horrific things in the name of Christianity. Have several seats.

In the 21st century? We see network of people committing acts of terror in the name of Islam. That is unprecedented in any other modern religion, ever. Especially in the 21st century. It's shameful you're too willfully ignorant to see that.

This is a domestic terror, not an Islamic Extremist kind of terror.

You should really educate yourself, because Islam is one of the most peaceful religions. Stop making biased, racist, and arrogant assumptions.

It's currently being investigated as a link to ISIS, read the news.

I'm not being ****ing biased. Islam is a religion that breeds extremism and holds extremely hateful sentiments towards minorities and gays. In the Islamic commandments being gay is punishable by death! Muslim majority countries and NOT peaceful. They are a place of terror and horrific acts of crimes against humanity. **** off with you telling me IM the ignorant one. You're willfully overlooking the fact that in every Muslim majority country it's illegal to be gay and it's more often than not punishable by torture and death.

You think that is a religion of peace?!?!

I've found a lot of diversity and togetherness in London gay clubs/events. I've never felt left out or excluded because I'm not muscly or even really sexy at all. Clearly the gay community (like most others) have issues in terms of there being certain body types/images more glamourised than others, but I've personally always felt more comfortable, free and accepted at gay events. Particularly in London.

i once had a gay guy get very angry at me once whilst i was busy talking to my friends and tell me that my body is gross and i needed to go the gym and another night, again totally unprovoked, the same thing was said to my friend another night at the same club so yeah :awkney: very accepting :awkney:

i've been much happier outside the community than inside tbh :gaycat:

edit: would like to point out that i'm not telling you leave the community or anything, personally i just found the people i met to be very toxic and unhealthy for me :gaycat:

Orlando, Florida tho. Get you sh!t together. This was most definitely pre-meditated. Why else would someone come in with a bomb and a massive gun? There was obviously intent and a plan. If you live in Orlando or anywhere near it, stay in your house for Heaven's sake. We can't lose any more.

What a weekend for me to be out of town. 😧

Uhm yes, who else is gonna fix the gun system in America? Who else is gonna prevent this from happening? Trump is not gonna do it. So stop belittleing people who have a different mindset than you and actually look at the bigger picture :yay:

what's the connection with what I said? you clearly didn't understand anything from what I said and what I meant...my complain that it's not the time to discuss about those things because it's not respectful.. but you had to go personal for no reason and you also thinks that I'm Trump supporter (I'm not, in case it's not clear yet) :air:

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Well if you're gonna call me '****ing horrible' than quote and call the other people I am having this discussion with, also horrible. And thousands of people die daily, so when is the right time to talk then?

I just did, don't you know what it means when you skip a space after a quote? Also, you were posting rude **** in the thread about Christina Grimmie. So your ****ing horribleness is pretty consistent.

Inside my head I have the best time

I don't think you realize ISIS uses Islam as a FRONT and an Excuse for their psychopathic murder sprees...

not sure if its his real ex wife but the washington post put this out

Ex-wife of suspected Orlando shooter: ‘He beat me’

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/ex-wife-of-suspected-orlando-shooter-he-beat-me/2016/06/12/8a1963b4-30b8-11e6-8ff7-7b6c1998b7a0_story.html?postshare=7921465748801168

"While the FBI has not identified Mateen publicly, U.S. law enforcement officials said his identification was found on the body of the killer, who was armed with a handgun and an assault rifle.

Authorities think he used those weapons to kill 50 people and injure dozens more in the attack on the gay nightclub that began just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Mateen was killed in a shootout with police three hours later after a SWAT team assaulted a section of the club where Mateen was holed up with hostages.

Mateen’s ex-wife said his family was from Afghanistan, but her ex-husband was born in New York. His family later moved to Florida. In a series of Myspace photos, Mateen is seen taking selfies and wearing New York Police Department shirts in a couple of the shots. His ex-wife identified him as the man in the Myspace photos.

Mateen’s ex-wife said she was having a difficult time when she first met him and decided to move to Florida to be with him. The two married in March 2009 and moved into a 2-bedroom condominium in Fort Pierce, Fla., that Mateen’s family owned.

“He seemed like a normal human being,” she said, adding that he wasn’t very religious and worked out at the gym often. She said in the few months they were married he gave no signs of having fallen under the sway of radical Islam. She said he owned a small-caliber handgun and worked as a guard at a nearby facility for juvenile delinquents.

“He was a very private person,” she said.

The ex-wife said her parents intervened when they learned Mateen had assaulted her. Her father confirmed the account and said that the marriage lasted only a few months."

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

So what's your plan of action then? Tell a quarter of the world's population to stop being Muslim because a select few are committing acts of violence?

Someone actually just approached you just to speak to you like that? :wtf: He sounds like an asshole. But I've never heard of that happening before so it's a shame that you think the entire gay scene is like that based on two incidents in one place.

UGH, those types of people are the ****ing worst. They exist in gay AND straight communities, and they're basically the lowest denominator of said groups. It's so damn annoying!

yeah, i mean we just shrugged him off and blamed the alcohol but i didn't base the whole community on that experience alone :gaycat: i used to have a bunch of gay friends back before the tumblr PC correctness storm but they all gave me a lot of **** for not joining in and for being a "white cis male" and such, which is another incident on the list of reasons why i just can't engage with the community like that anymore :wtf:

i don't know, as long as i'm happy, i don't care to be in any form of community as such, that's just me :duck:

I never said you were a Trump supporter? And also I think you are wrong about it not being respectful or the right time to discuss. Like we can only say this here: 'RIP, my condolences, etc, ...'? An attack like this has huge consequences on society, so my reaction does belong here.
