I wish she were on season 1 with the whole elitist, corrupt school, campus murders, sorority life vibes! Yeessssss Asylum was the peak of the series for me! Every aspect of Asylum was pulled off amazingly. Coven was a good follower with a bit of campy humour. Freakshow for me was a slow, uninteresting, boring mess with really bad sound balancing that gave me a headache. I was ready to write off the show after Freakshow, but Hotel was good enough to save the series in my mind! I just think it got a bit messy at the end, and it kinda seems like the writers didn't know where it was going and scrambled to finish it and tie up all the loose ends. But it worked. He seems to have 'split' AHS into 3 shows now: one that has the crime part, one that has the horror part, and one that has the campy humour part. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. I actually love Hotel, I just thought Ryan had more potential considering he produced ACS whose cast and the show itself are predicted to snatch tons of Emmys this year. (Literally every expert places ACS and its cast as their first choice to get nominated for Emmys) Actually I was disappointed to learn that Ryan isn't very much involved in American Crime Story at all. He just gets an executive producer role because they're using the "American ____ Story" and the anthology series format. But it's still great so who cares right?! Haha. But I still enjoy it. Spoiler When it comes to horror tv shows I prefer Penny Dreadful, it's so good, you guys should ckeck it out. Beautifully shot, great acting, very very well written. It's a rare thing and there's a big chance it will be cut after this current season and it's a shame. So go watch it. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. Oh I also feel exactly the same way. Murder House was a mind twister, really psycho. Asylum was so grandiose and ambitious and it pulled it off, Ryan is a mastermind. The Coven had really cool theme and imagery but after Asylum it felt a bit flat maybe because it was set back to present day. Freakshow was a hot mess, but ended well, and Hotel was a back to basics season and I enjoyed it a lot. Anyway, the OT is such a mess, and it gives me some extra pleasure that this genius show makes you so pressed. That's how you should feel when you are so simpleminded, and can't see the depths of this work of art. Let me guess, for the OT ARTPOP is also a hot mess, with no meaning just random fun music, and maybe Scream Queens is a sh*tty gurly/gay show? I'm amused at how some people think everything is literal and straightforward and refuse to look for a deeper meaning or lack some good sense of humour and ability to identify irony and sarcasm.
