I suppose its very appropriate to have a flash-in-the-pan act judge acts that will inevitably turn out to be flash-in-the-pan themselves.

Hum excuse me but Britney was a judge on X Factor in 2012 just after having a #1 album with a #1 lead single and 2 top ten singles in 2011 so I disagree about what you said about Britney.

But he still has a point. After X Factor Britney went from a #1 album with three successful singles to a #4 album with two flop singles. X Factor did no good to her career at all.

The biggest sign of someone's career being over is being a judge on a show like this.

idk, all of The Voice USA judges are still pretty relevant lol

Oh yes it was such a bad decision, I can totally agree, it ruined her image.

She will get into another racial mess :toofunny: she'll be the "bitch" judge and blah blah blah she'll say something racist and everyone will hate her even more..

too soon.. and honestly, how a person with very low number of years in the industry and a minor success can judge people?!

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Well I don't think the show ruined her career. Britney Jean was a bad album and the era was a mess.

Those shows were in the UK and US though, two of the biggest markets... This is in Australia. No shade to any users here who are from there, but this is gonna get her next to no exposure on a global scale. Suppose she'll get a semi decent paycheck though.

I didn't say it would be huge benefit for her. But she can get more popular in Australia, some nice paycheck and importantly boost her confidence again, cause she seems very depressed lately with all stuff with nick, blacklashand so on. Also this will give her opportunity to be close to her family again

lol first part isn't even worth of commenting cause it's straight up trolling :toofunny:

secondly there are plenty of judges with far less experience and they were fine

ROTFL. Cuz she's so knowledgeable when it comes to music, contributed so much to the music culture and knows what it takes to have a long, fulfilling career, right? :wtfga:

It ruined her image, many people around me thought she was still crazy when watching X Factor.

more like joking, why do we need to be so serious here?! :yay:

I just don't think she's ready for it yet, but oh well. it's a reality show, they are just using her temporary success for the ratings.. I'm not even sure that even in Australia they care about her too much.. Dannii with all her recycled albums is more successful then her..

trolling and joking are close terms :poot:

If anything she will show them she is actually nice and not a bitch like some people (like you for example) perceived her

Rita Ora was a judge with like two years of career, Iggy was way longer if you include her mixtapes and stuff. She was trying to get in the industry since she was 16
