Super excited for this new Gen, I'm loving all these new Pkmn already?? Morelull, Jangmo-o, Oricorio, Minior, Lurantis..? So freaking cute. And the Alolan formes really are something else, I dig that they've all been Generation I Pokemon thus far. The Raichu one might have to make an appearance on my squad.

That said, I'm totally confused by the new Gym system and the Ultra Beasts. Seems like Game Freak is trying to spice things up a bit this go around, which is needed for the most part, as I found XY to be a flaccid addition to canon (a majority of the game fell flat; the customization features were dope though). The storyline just didn't grip me in any way, and there wasn't much post-game as opposed to BW2 and even ORAS.
