inb4 scores of short-sighted fools denounce Warren for this, because they fail to understand that cooperation with those you may disagree with on certain issues is the best way to reach common ground.

Frankly I want Warren as VP for her to shore up any doubts I may have about Clinton.

This. I'm conflicted though, as her leaving will open up her seat to be temporarily filled by a Republican, and who knows about the election after that :saladga: If she wants to do it and they can try to minimize this loss, I'm all for it. I do worry that Warren is kind of an aggressive fighter; like she fights for what she wants and doesn't have a filter per say, where as Clinton is more of a mediator it seems. They might have clashing personalities.

Apparently not.

"“Reid sees a number of promising paths to making sure that Democrats keep Warren’s seat and is very open to her being selected,” said this person, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations."

That's good. Neither will get complacent.

"The right wing has thrown everything they possibly can at her. And what does she do? A lot of people would just hang up their spurs. They’d say, you know, I’ve had enough of this. And she doesn’t. What she’s done is she gets back up and she gets back in the fight.” —Elizabeth Warren on Hillary

I think she's smarter than that. She was smart enough to keep out of the primary knowing it would benefit her later. And I think as VP she would know when to bark and when to stay quiet. She's publicly criticized Hillary in the past, so her friendliness towards her now seems to me like she knows when to pick a fight and when not to. And if she was asked to be VP I think she would have some demands that she would want, like positions on committees and to be in charge of areas important to her. Plus I think Hillary kind of likes her fierceness, because Hillary was always criticized for being too aggressive/ambitious so she probably sees another woman out there "fighting" and thinks you go girl.

I want Warren as VP because that ticket will be sure to go down in flames.
