I use the term affirmative action because so many supporters are putting a person in the White House because she is a woman. Same thing happens in college acceptance.

Anyways, have your day. Your candidate has won. But have fun on indictment day!

As someone has graciously noted, Hillary is winning IN SPITE of being a woman, not because of it.

But good on you to diminish this remarkable achievement in order to feel better about yourself :emma:

Thanks though hon. I won't shove it in your face when she gets vindicated because I truly care about your feelings

Like what? Stop talking out of your a** and tell us specifics.

Here's a common but small list by the CDC:

Not to mention things such as hormone regulation, periods, birth control, abortion, and a myriad of other disorders that affect women both fertile and infertile.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

~Actually the racial demographic that most benefits from affirmative action in college are caucasians~

They were told to not express their opinions too strongly -- it's not polite. To not challenge a man -- it's not ladylike.

It seems people are bitter af :green:

Get over it its happening :sara:

Did some people vote for Hillary JUST because shes a woman? Did some people vote for Obama just because he was black?

Yes.

Do I give a ****? No. At the end of the day, people make stupid votes all the time, luckily for both of them Obama and Hillary were well qualified in many ways also, so I don't really see fault in it.  Some people voted for Trump just because hes a man. Some people voted for Trump because he's a bigot. Some people voted for Bernie because Hillary's a woman :saladga: Some people are voting for Hillary just because she's the only name they know other than Trump? Why do we dismiss those things but spend so much time wondering about sexism? The point is, people can have w.e reason they want for voting for someone whether you agree with it or not and they will. I'm okay with this because Hillary is qualified. Also, voting for a woman who has gender equality in mind as part of her platform for many people is plenty of information. It's not an entirely blind vote. Even for representation and to make a statement, it's a valid vote for many and I can't find the fault in that :rip:

Honestly, if ya'll want people to be more intelligent with their votes, do more to educate them instead of running around calling everyone out for being "sexist" just because they aren't voting for your fave:laughga: The idea of voting for ANY candidate for only 1 reason is problematic, but its telling that we are focusing on her gender like we focused on his race :smh:

OT: This was super cute, esp. the emoticon of all the white presidents and then Obama and Hillary :flutter: And parents already talking to their kids

That was the purpose.

Then people had to drag sexism into this.

Goosey

It does not change anything for women.

As I said before:

Hillary Clinton winning the Democratic nomination is in no way "empowering".

"I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. Trump
