Sure.

Too bad I wasn't really active in US Politics back then to care though. Too busy dodging carpet bombs in Lebanon.

That's great. I just hope you realize it's going to be futile for your own sake.

Pushing the platform to the left isn't futile. We were in this to push progressive ideas to the forefront of democratic agenda.

I'm not sad. I wasn't involved back then so why are you trying to bring me into it?

It is at this juncture. Hillary has moved as left as comfortably possible for her and the majority of Democrats.

The convention is almost 2 months away. I'm sure sanders can uncomfortably nudge more left positions.

Well he still has some leverage now, much less than he had before the California primary.

It'll only decrease the longer he waits though.

The longer he waits for what? His leverage over the convention will still be there, and strong on July 25th.

Yes it is. And if you cared about the news value of the article you would've included it in the OP, not those two small ass references to what "aides say" :rip:

May I ask, why are you supporting Hillary? Honestly that's everyone I know like...please give me an explanation as to why you're voting for her? Or support her?

You're not the first to ask me that considering most of my friends assumed I'd go for Bernie. They were shocked to say the least.

I could write a full page essay explaining this, because it deserves it despite me being thoroughly exhausted due to having to repeat myself so many times, but  if you want something that may apply to more than just me, then read this.

http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2016/5/29/in-her-corner-how-the-2016-democratic-primary-has-made-me-a-staunch-hillary-clinton-supporter#.V0sjVw4iioU.facebook

It's a long read, but if you're genuinely curious it's basically how I and many "supposed Bernie supporters" feel. I bumped into it yesterday and was basically nodding the entire way through.

It could have been written by me, with the only difference being that I come from a country that has been in its own political revolution for years.

I have a sense of what can be accomplished, and what can't be, regardless of what we desire.

What happened to not posting opinions as threads :poot:

This is an article from Politico. Articles are posted here everyday from blogs and gossip sites and Politico is neither of those. Politico is in line with other valid and respected news sites.

If we aren't going to post opinions as thread, we should target those blog posts from Huffpost from their blog section or crazy sites like Brietbart.
