It was so funny in 2008 hearing racist Republicans talk about how we shouldn't make a big deal about Obama being the first black major nominee/president and that it wasn't important. Now we have these "progressive" BernieBros coming out and saying we shouldn't make a big deal about Hillary being the first female nominee for a major party and quite possibly president and that it's not important.

There was someone who once wondered what they had in their marriage.  This was back about four, six years ago.  He saw them sitting on a couch together in their home discussing important issues regarding our country and the passion that was there in their lively discussions said it all.  They are united in their service to this country and their beliefs.  It has held them together forever.  He admired his wife and is the man who believed she could and should be President before others.  His ego wasn't so big that he didn't want her to eclipse his Presidency.   Their marriage may be different from others but they are soulmates in their own way, and they are bound together and are a true couple.  It's just that it's a different marriage from what you and I would want.  Bill not only was a great two-term president, but his bi-partisan world organization he travels tirelessly for is making a huge difference in the world.  Hillary was an important First Lady and was hailed as a strong senator and then traveled tirelessly as Secretary of State.  They have shared values as far as service to this country,  Their marriage works for them and survived a lot of dark times with Bill's infidelities.  He is her strongest supporter.  So who am I to judge?

I'm sorry but you can be a nice person and that doesn't make infedility okay. I'm sure Bill is a nice person, but fact is he ****ed a secretary and more, while being married aka in a monogamyous relationship and with a child. Sorry but it's not love that kept them together, but business aka politics. If you can't see through that, you're just a delusional fan.

I dont understand how you can have such a strong opinion about a marriage of an unknown person. Yes, when you hear your neighbours fighting every day, see your parents ignoring each other, your friends or your collegues really sad because of something their partner did or didnt, you can have opinions. Even then, its really hard to be really sure if that person will be happier alone or not. Relantionships are very complicated and only the 2 people that make it know everything about it.

 

So I guess you just have a strong opinion about cheating, but just because you wouldnt cheat or wouldnt accept semeone cheating you, it doesnt mean that it is wrong to forgive semeone mistakes and try to repair what you build together. Its really complicated.
