It's her choice and she's free to vote for whomever she wants. At the end of the day, if for some reason Bernie ends up winning the nomination, which is virtually impossible now but still possible, Gaga will vote for Sanders anyway so it's all good. tbh, i dont have a problem with her supporting Hillary. I guess it would just be nice if she would articulate why. I know she doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but as some have mentioned, the problem is that she seemingly only supports hillary b/c she would be the first female president, and not b/c she actually values what hillary stands for. But more to, how she suggests people who followed her to do the same, plus, she tweeted this before after she voted in NYC, and now again, and both times, she was only about "first female president" She need to be more substantial on why Hillary is a good choice, if she wants to encourage anyone to follow her steps. Who give a damn about the first female president if that was only end up as something people would brag about and later on, if indicted, Hillary cannot prove much? Correct me if I'm wrong, but she doesn't need to explain why Hillary is the best choice to her Twitter followers. She's simply encouraging people to vote for her. It's up to the people to inform themselves on the political stance of each candidate and make up their own minds whether or not Gaga endorses them. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Togekiss 2,528
All you sixteen year olds in this thread Hillary is going to win the nomination regardless of what happens today (but Hillary is going to win). And that is not cool, political leaning and views are personal, not something someone can encourage. Plus, it looks bad on her, for not stating more than "Hillary because female president lol!" Fernster7 7,922
I've said this before but I'll do it again, if anyone changes their political views because of a Lady Gaga tweet then they are ****ing stupid. People criticizing her because she's encouraging others to vote for someone need to grow up, if she was supporting Bernie you all would be "YAAAAS QUEEEN, GOOO!" Monsters never die. I could be wrong, but if we took a poll of all the active users on GGD today it would be revealed that about 60 to 70 percent of the users who consider themselves democrats support Bernie. This leads me to believe that everyone would be all over GGD and Twitter saying how their so-called fav is smart for supporting Bernie, but those same people are quick to bash her for supporting Hillary. Just because some people don't agree with Gaga's choice for president doesn't mean they should come for her and say she isn't politically savvy. The same could be said about the Trump and Sanders supporters, too! In other words, let her support whomever she wants! I don't care what you think about unless it is about me. In the first four months of the year, the news coverage for Hillary and Bernie on major networks and news programs was completely equal. If you aren't hearing about Bernie, then you haven't been watching the news.
