notamember 667 Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I've bought each album 3 times and I give the other two copies of each to friends that like her because I want them to have the music, but they usually don't pay for it, so I pay for it so Gaga makes her $$$. I've also bought digital singles when they are released, any that weren't on a particular album. Probably something like $150 I gave one of my copies of Cheek To Cheek to my high school music teacher though, as a gift (I just remembered that I also bought ARTPOP on itunes before it was released because I had already bought the promo singles and singles, so it was only like $10) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Schwerk 7,246 Posted June 8, 2016 Share Posted June 8, 2016 Kind of interesting how some fans (not anyone in particular, generally) throw Gaga demands regarding her career or LG5, yet they haven't even spent 10 bucks on her music before. I spent a lot of money on her these past 6+ years, and I don't think that makes me a better fan at all, but it also still doesn't grant me the rights (like some sort of Gaga investor) to demand anything from her. Anyway, to answer your question (fandom is such an interested mindtwisting subject), probably going to NYC for the Roseland shows was the most expensive with the flight from Amsterdam, 3 70 dollar tickets, and Airbnb. But I turned it into a two week holiday and I travel cheap and as it's also a holiday, I think only half of the travel costs truly count. Also my gift for Gaga cost me a whopping 100 euro cause I had 4 shirts printed high quality and last minute. But it was all worth it. Most money I ever spent on 'collectables' is probably buying as many of her latest V covers I could find, probably around 90 euro. Also, not that it costed a lot, but I'd like to add that I had to buy ARTPOP twice because they didn't have the special edition with the SwineFest in the store and just couldn't wait.
