weed 74,407
I feel like since Gaga came around, there've been no new female pop stars that have dominated the charts multiple times and are relevant. Like there was Britney, Christina, Pink, Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor, Katy, then Gaga, (Adele, but she's not really a POP star) and then I think there's been no new ones since then. Meghan is already going downhill, Lorde only had 1 huge song, Ariana isn't massive, etc. Do you know what I mean? Like I wonder when the next huge female that has multiple #1 songs will come around. Chelseaaaaaa 1,453
Agreed. I think Marina & The Diamonds could've, and should've, been that during 'Electra Heart' but she didn't go far in the U.S. It'll have to be someone that does something different. Each of those women changed the pop music landscape in one way or another. It certainly isn't going to be Ariana Grande.
Divine 1,923
No one can match her "meteoric success" she slayed her debut and paved her way up until now "And I still love you even if I can't see you anymore."
Gagz4Gaga 7,278
The way Gaga exploded worldwide during her Fame era will go down in history as legendary. No other upcoming artist can match such thing in quite some time. nostalgia’s for geeks
Lord Temptation 11,209
Totes. Gaga was the game changer of 21st century pop. Everyone at first tried to outdo her. Then they realised they looked stupid. And now they are afraid to do anything.
