And if he was dumb enough to take a breathalyzer test he deserves to be there. If you live in the US folks always deny the breathalyzer. Look up the consequences for failing a breathalyzer and the consequences for denying one. You'll see what I mean and then make up your own mind. Hopefully this will help someone because otherwise this dumb thread is completely self serving and void of any meaning. Regardless of who he is - the problem isn't that he was dumb enough to take a breathalyzer test, the problem is he was dumb enough to get behind the wheel of a car when he was under the influence. Don't encourage people to look up their state's breathalyzer test laws, encourage people to download uber and never drive when they have just imbibed. "I'm encouraging people to be informed not to drive drunk." Show me where in this thread you encouraged people not to drive drunk. No where in your post did you discourage people from driving under the influence. You didn't call this man dumb for driving drunk, you called him dumb for agreeing to take a breathalyzer test. "And if he was dumb enough to take a breathalyzer test he deserves to be there..." - you are implying his choice to take a breathalyzer test is some how more dumb then his choice to drive drunk. Rather then encouraging people to only drive when they are sober, you encouraged people who are suspected of driving under the influence to opt out of a breathalyzer test because the consequences are less sever. Rather then encourage people to be informed about the risks associated with driving under the influence, you encouraged them to research laws regarding breathalyzers in order to evade appropriate punishment. Speaking as someone who lost a loved because of an asshole drunk driver, you're post is bullshit, and you know it.

You make perfect sense and I don't disagree with your post at all but @just4fun is merely stating that if you are in such a situation, be smart and refuse to take it. That is all he's said. Speaking as someone who lost a loved because of an asshole drunk driver, you're post is bullshit, and you know it. What? I didn't discourage people to drive drunk, so I automatically encouraged them to drive drunk? At this day and age people don't know that they shouldn't drive drunk so any comment made about a DUI has to start with a disclaimer? I did not implying anything and I am not encouraging anyone to drive drunk. I don't believe anyone should drive drunk or under the influence of any thing else that would alter your senses. I am telling people to get informed. There is no reason they shouldn't be informed. I am sorry for your loss, but it's unfair to accuse me of something just because I'm telling people to know their rights. Knowing your rights is not against the law.
