Kayla 7,595 Posted June 6, 2016 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I love how this fanbase criticizes other artists for not having enough of a hand in making their songs, praising Gaga for being so heavily involved, only to go on and have meltdowns over which producer Gaga works with clearly under the assumption that the song's quality is all about the producer. Shows how much credit some fans actually give Gaga for the final copy of her work when they think it's apparently all about the producer. Maybe it'd be nice to see the music GAGA wants to put out instead of debating which producer will make an album that sells more. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mark Ronson has of course produced and written Uptown Funk but, other than that, he hasn't produced that many hit singles. Which is why so many people want Red One to work with Gaga; they're familiar with their '08-09 hits and want to see it all happen again. If we want Gaga to be more of a "singles artist" and more marketable, Red One's the man. 2. On the other hand, even though RedOne makes hits, his singles only have artistic integrity and value when Gaga works with him. I'm not saying he's not a true artist, but he'll never compare to Mark Ronson, who brings so much more to the table considering Gaga's current phase. They have a lot in common now. They are more focused on the music and the artistic expression rather than the commercial/business part of it all. I think Gaga's taking a bigger risk with Mark because we're not sure how different her sound will become. Red OnexGaga is the partnership we all know and love, but if we want Gaga to evolve musically and artistically, I personally think Mark can really be the one to help her do just that. I don't care too much about Gaga being the #1 artist or amassing #1 hits. I care about the quality of her music. Which is why I personally prefer Mark.
