And in this article Tony Bennett says, interestingly: "It's going to be all Cole Porter songs. He was the best writer of all of them in the Great American Songbook. Highly intelligent. We're going to have a lot of fun doing that." I'd forgotten this bit of info and just thought it was interesting to remember. I wonder if that is still the plan... Also, plans for a second album have been under way for about a year, so it's no wonder they're seemingly close to releasing it by now! Remember, they're all covers. Already written songs. This whole C3C thing is such an enigma! When will it come out? Will it be an August birthday celebration? What covers will it contain? Will it still be all Cole Porter songs? Will Gaga's original content make the cut this time? Will it be the rumoured Vegas residency? Will it tour now or later? How will it coincide with the release of LG5? Will it tour before LG5? Will it tour alongside LG5 like C3C and artRAVE did? Will the tour be extensive or smaller than last time? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. She's rumoured to be doing a Vegas residency next year, but it isn't at all confirmed. Fans are just speculating that if she is doing it, it'd make more sense to be C3C than LG5. I'm guessing this album and tour cycle will be very short regardless. Probably just a bit of fun for both of them, and a way for Gaga to relax and have some downtime while still keeping busy and still performing. Plus they already have a foot in the door and have established themselves in the jazz community (I mean as a duo of course, Tony was already well established ) so they probably won't need to do a lot of promo and a long tour. Then I think that would be perfect, they can release it, record some radio/tv interviews, do a 2 weeks residency and win a Grammy. And Gagz shall performe twice at the Grammys with LG5 too.
