LebaneseDude 6,146
You guys love posting things out of context don't you? I go get laid for a few hours and I come back seeing two posts so abysmally out of context that I rolled my eyes more than I did ...a few hours ago ---- President Bill Clinton told vocal Bernie Sanders supporters at a campaign rally Sunday in Los Angeles that they would be "toast" on Tuesday. At the former president's Sunday rally, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, the few Sanders supporters were a small but vocal part of the crowd and the "Bernie" shouts started up almost as soon as Clinton started talking. "I don't want to pick a fight but if I were them I'd be screaming, too, 'cause if you figured this out, they're toast for Election Day," Clinton said to cheers from the crowd. "So have a good time." --- These are people crashing a campaign rally for their own agenda. They were being vocal and annoying at a Hillary event. These are not normal Bernie supporters. These are the Bernie bots. They don't deserve to have their sensibilities catered to. Furthermore, this is Bill not Hillary speaking. So you're projecting his statements unto her when you shouldn't. It's like mocking Sanders for what his wife says and trust me she's said a lot of stupid things that haven't been publicized. @Morphine Prince I get this kind of post from Goosey but from you? Sad, man. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

These are people insistent on finding the slightest justification to not vote for her despite all the proof that not doing so would not be in their best interest. Look at this thread. The same people talking about oversensitivity regarding racial issues in another thread don't see how their principles instantly change when discussing sensitivity regarding an off-handed statement by a candidate's husband. Inconsistency is a common theme among GGD members. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

If Clinton can't be bothered to attempt to bridge the gap between her and Sanders supporters, then why is there so much frustration at the prospect of a Bernie or Bust movement? I've already made my decision not to vote for her, but it's incredible to see Clinton supporters in awe that someone would suggest that in an election a candidate has to work to get the people's votes. Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Even tho Sanders problem is mostly his insane supporters!!! Sander's problem is that his supporters loved to go hang out with their buds at rallys or talk on social media, but not enough of them got themselves organized enough to go out and vote. That...and the fact that he never won over minorities, and you have to have the minority vote to win the democratic nomination.

She already has by making statements inclusive of his constituency, appealing to them by injecting their beliefs into her plans (going left as they say) and barely going negative on Sanders. No no. You expect her to treat you like a dumb cultist as Sanders did. You aren't going to get special treatment. Hillary works for all Americans, not just her supporters. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. "They can shout all they want, those are the facts, and she has bent over backwards to be positive in this campaign," Clinton said as Sanders' supporters continued to shout. The "they" is clearly the ones present. The people crashing his rally, being annoying, and pursuing their own agenda without any form of respect towards Clinton deserve to have their sensibilities catered to now? I honestly have never understand the practicality of the whole Political "Revolution" thing that Sanders + His supporters advocate ad nauseam!!! I mean what revolution?? Turn out for BOTH democrats has been low compared to Republicans, so if anything at the moment THEY are having more of a "Revolution" than we are... Egypt.
