Why not try to make a change in your lifetime? Why not challenge people to be better? Why not use the fame and influence you have over thousands of people to try and make the world kinder? You can play by the rules and be different that is the exact thing she did and succeeded.. Playing by the rules does not mean you have to do what always been done. You can use the fame and influence to try and make the world kinder, and I respect that, but you can't change it. There is a difference
hELXIG 42,954
And to add to that, personally I'd much rather stan for somebody with a passion to TRY. Someone who at least wants to make an effort to make change. I wouldn't be so attached to her if she just gave in and played into the worlds games and 'fit in' for lack of a better term. And also why? To make sales? To make money? That's such an insult to her entire career and her passionate personality and the possible potential that she does have. I'm kind of sick of the world telling other people to stop trying, and to play it safe, because there's a chance they might fail. Walk the beaten track and do as people always have done to get by. Live carefully. Play by the rules. F*uck that. I'd rather try and fail 1000 times over, than live my life without ever trying. And I'm sure Gaga feels the same way. The reason I love her is because she breaks the rules and puts in a tireless effort to make change. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Exactly! People are so afraid. We're raised to be absolutely full of fear. Fear of losing, fear of wasted effort, fear of possible negative outcomes. But you know what? Why aren't we ever taught to be hopeful? Why don't we think about how great the possible positive outcomes would be? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Pablo 7,780
I think change can be made. It starts with the fans, don't be a jerk around celebrities and treat them like real people. They already feel isolated, why make them feel like they are in a zoo exhibit. Don't visit my profile

I'm sickened by the way people treat Gaga sometimes. You say that she's a human being and should be treated like one and they get defensive and say "she signed up for this! She knew what she was getting in to! She can take it!" as if that justifies their actions! It really doesn't. People treat celebs like sh*it, and they put the blame back on them for being celebrities in the first place... No wonder Gaga wanted to quit music. But then of course it's the same fans who say that she needs to deal with it, who get upset when they hear she wanted to quit... I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Stewful2929 786
I wish she could change it, because it's stupid. Fame is totally stupid in general. I want nothing more than just to talk to her, I don't care that she's famous. Why do we hold famous people at such a high esteem. At the end of the day they are only people. If everyone could remember that, I do think she could change fame culture. If everyone saw them as a person that does this as a job instead of something more than that, maybe it would change. I agree with you, that is rude..but many of the people/fans are not thinking that maybe they are treating them like animals in zoo exhibit. Without fans they would not exist, without visitors there wouldnt be a zoo, and I think nobody can change or control that
artRaver 3,188
Maybe no one can change the fame culture, but at least she's attempting to try to make an impact instead of sitting there and doing nothing. (Even though we all know it won't work) People make themselves unhappy and depressed? Oh, okay...g2g ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿

But the problem is that you cant make everyone think or do something... and about talking to celebrities, she can say that she wants to talk to them but trust me, She doesnt have time nor her bodyguards will let you. Imagine if there was 50 fans and everyone including you wanted s to talk with her. That is the reason why people are taking pictures, because its easier and faster and they are so starstruck by her and dont wanna embarras themself by saying some stupid things. Aka fame is making her depressed. Would you rather he fake her emotions and say she's happy when she's not? Because that mindset is damaging.
REALITY 76,265
She's always been a very optimistic figure in the industry and has even revolutionized some aspects of it. While I agree that no one person can change fame culture, I believe that she can bring attention to it. 59 minutes ago, Nono said: Nothing. Im sick of hearing fame makes you unhappy blabla.. what about people that are living normal life with 9-5 job and going to college, what about them? As for this, it's a completely valid argument. Fame isn't something everyone deals with, so who are you to say that she isn't really unhappy? All fame really is is to show more people about your internal struggles and problems, just because you're famous doesn't mean it's going to take all of your problems away. 1 hour ago, Nono said: Its because you make yourself unhappy and depressed By the way, this is just a quick pet peeve of mine, but "depressed" is a strong word and serious mood disorder. I wouldn't go as far as to say "you make yourself depressed", it's just the struggles and insecurities you're dealing with that make it seem like you have no other option. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
