Because one is a mere personal belief, the other is an actual policy that will have legislation.

Trump won't do anything to gay marriage (he even said transgender people can use the bathroom of their choice) so who cares if he says he's "for traditional marriage"? He's not going to act on it, and it's already been decided by the Supreme Court. Trump is the most gay-friendly Republican candidate of all those we've seen. The whole issue doesn't concern him too much.

 On the other hand, Hillary will try to attack Americans' 2nd Amendment rights. It's in her policy.

This is a very surprising ruling.  And I — I can see changes coming down the line, frankly.  But I would have much preferred that they ruled at a state level and allowed the states to make those rulings themselves.

On the other hand, he flip-flopped while talking to a lesbian journalist, stating that he’d “move forward on LGBT rights.” Now, to make matters even more confusing, the Republican frontrunner is apparently refusing to discuss gay marriage at all.

 

Anyways, Hillary's position on guns is more negative to me than Trump's views on gays (and who knows what he's thinking). And she will try to stack the court as well.

Wtf does that have to do with sexism? He has said in multiple occasions that women get to keep their jobs because they're pretty, that they're all attracted to men with power consiously or unconsiously and he as even sexualised his own daughter. He has such a masculinity complex...

He was literally making comments about his daughter's breasts while she was still an infant. He's always on about women's bodies so it's obvious that's the most important thing to him. Having an attractive woman by his side. Why else would he compare wives with Cruz?

He also said he'd appoint people to the SCOTUS to reverse the ruling that struck down same-sex marriage bans, sending the issue back to the states and taking away the right to marry in the 15-20 states that didn't allow it.

Side note, he wants another judge for his trial in November. See, he doesn't want a Latino judge to oversee the trial where he's having tens of thousands of cases of fraud brought against him and his worthless university where he extorted students, giving them useless classes to squeeze every dime out of them that he could.
