None of this is what I'm talking about. And goodbye to that simplistical thing, dear lord. You really think highly of yourself don't you Reply to what I'm saying or don't pls. Huh? You said you were sick of how it functions and I stated how I view how it functions with regards to my interests. I wasn't spinning anything. I only added that "safety" bit for comparison Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

I didn't feel like any of the posts were about what I was saying. Anarchy? That was random enough, and then I get a reply about US military intervention in the Middle East and how that's keeping Europe safe just because I said people here are tired of the way Europe functions? What the ****'s that? I'm perfectly fine with you talking about that separately but why on earth drag my posts into it. There's literally no connection anywhere. Oh well the connection was foreign interest in US politics. You stated how you viewed it in relation to how it benefits you. I stated mine after you did. That's all there is to it Also regarding the anarchist bit, you prefer unpredictability and volatility for the sake of potential change for good or ill rather than stability and continuity. It's not an insult. It's just a conclusion based off your opinion, one said lightheartedly too. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

Lately I've been wondering if it doesn't make more sense to elect people who are as openly ridiculous and devoid of genuine interest for general well-being as our political system than to elect someone who can fool us into thinking everything's ok the way it is, slouching back in our couches, expecting some random person to run our lives just as lousily as their predecessor. If he ends up doing some good, fantastic. If he ****s up, the outrage will be enough to get people of those couches and hopefully inspire them to question the system and get politically involved again. Seems like a win-win for me. I'd consider voting for him now that Bernie's out for those reasons. This reminds me of how gay marriage passed in Minnesota (before the country-wide passing of it). The anti-LGBT crowd wanted to change the Minnesota laws to say that gay marriage would permanently and very seriously be illegal, but the crowd of people here who believe in equality pushed against it and ended up making gay marriage LEGAL instead. Had that group just stayed quiet, the gays would have still suffered the previous inequality of having restrictions on being married, but since the haters decided to try and take away any hope of gay marriage the rest of Minnesota was like "Nah- make it legal instead." So maybe Trump being elected would have a similar effect? Still wouldn't vote for him, though. Too big a risk.
Kayla 7,595
I don't trust Trump one bit. Remember when he got more votes than Cruz in Louisiana but wound up with less delegates? He bitched about it, complained how it was unfair, etc. Later when the shitty system worked out in his favor, he can be quoted saying that he "wasn't complaining because I won." So you really want to vote for a guy who whines when he doesn't get his way, but then openly admits that when an unfair system allows him to win he doesn't care? That just proves he doesn't care about something being unfair if it means he gets his way. That's not a politician- that's a child.
