Gaga is a genius for releasing TFM as a book

She honestly is. 

I was just curious and read about the history of books and reading.

Before reading was something everyone could do, people needed to talk to each other as their way of communication or to spread news / get information. It was the 18th century, where reading became more and more common. Books were the first true medium, which was available for everyone. The 'book industry' evolved. Books got less expensive, people wanted to educate themselves. It is said, that during that time - the books you got at the library were representing your character, they were sorta your biography.  Although books and reading had much success, many critics said that books will ruin the next generation. 

What I am trying to say is, that it's amazing for Gaga to release her Album 'The Fame (Monster)' as a book, since it represents 'Fame' and the critique you get while being famous. 

and just like the books, our gaga evolved into something really popular.

(This may be a total reach, but I feel like this could've been Gaga's Intention  )

I know that but that doesn't sway me. TFM was never about the criticism an artist receives when they're famous so that alone is enough to disqualify your whole OP imo

I don't think it has to do with critics. it's simply playing the prophet by putting your revelations out there for people to use them as their own personal escape.

with the escapist theme of the album and the kingdom concept, it makes more sense.

it's not. the book is full of pictures that capture the different phases of her/her team's artistic process and contains quite a few personal, handwritten remarks.
