Favorability is irrelevant when the other candidate has it even worse. It's not justification for Sanders to be the nominee when he is significantly behind in pledged delegates and the popular vote.

Trustworthiness is also irrelevant because the party knows that Hillary is trustworthy. Hillary has credentials that many of you ignore thanks to thirty years of media coverage and GOP conspiracies that many millennials have swallowed up. It also not justification for Sanders to be the nominee when he is significantly behind in pledged delegates and the popular vote. 

Equal polling to Trump is irrelevant because said polls are national polls and that is not how the American democracy works. It functions on the electoral college.  Furthermore, any favorables toward Sanders is not representative because he is unvetted and untested. You do realize that noone has ran a negative campaign against him yet right? Polling at this point, given insignificant gaps, is also not justification for Sanders to be the nominee when he is significantly behind in pledged delegates and the popular vote.

Being under an FBI investigation is irrelevant when all the candidates are under investigations. That it is the FBI doing it is circumstance given the nature of the case. You placing different values upon them is irrelevant. Getting indicted for anything disqualifies the run, no matter how relevant it is for you. This is not justification for Sanders to be the nominee when he is significantly behind in pledged delegates and popular vote.

All you need to win is to be ahead in pledged delegates. Hillary has that and is comfortable in the lead. Obama had less of the popular vote but he still won. 

You can find as many reasons you want to justify a better candidate. 

In the end, your candidate failed because he does not have enough delegates. All other reasons are moot. The system was not and has not been constructed for Clinton to win. If you argue that it's because he's a fresh Democrat, then perhaps Sanders should have joined earlier and fostered some relationships with the base and constituency. Apparently he's too thickheaded for that. He could have won if he bothered to deal with minorities and the South. Too bad.

Of people don't believe in Bernie's ideas and don't want what he is selling. 

Bernie is no more likely to make changes than any other candidate. He would have significant problems, since his ideas aren't remotely feasible and not even his supporters want to pay the amount in taxes it would take to implement his changes. 

Are Bernie's supporters just voting for him because he is a white male?

You question whether people are voting for Bernie cause he is a white male. Making that statement  I would think that you would realize trump is a white male.
