RedOnes Point of View and artistic collaboration

I think people need to remember we have heard only one side of the story, that being RedOnes.  There may never have been any firm commitment that his was the lead single, it might have been a possibility that Red took as more definite.  It's also true that he is in the process of promoting his own work right now, so he's going to say things that get him attention.  That's not to say that what he is saying is incorrect, I don't know that.  But we haven't heard, and likely will never hear, Gaga or Interscopes side of the story.  And for all we know it might be a moot point if his work ends up on LG5 anyway.

I get that some of you are huge RedOne fans, maybe even more than Gaga fans.  But it's disturbing how quickly people are to blame Gaga for any situation they perceive as negative.  Yes, in the end she is the one in charge of her album and along with Interscope is probably selecting songs for the album so "blame" is warranted if RedOne doesn't end up on the album.  However, artistic collaboration is a two way street, and ultimately it's Gaga's vision that will be represented in the album.  Many producers don't like that part of it; in today's pop world the producers are used to being the source of power.  Gaga takes that power in herself rather than giving it up to producers ( or video directors, etc), so it's not surprising that there will occasionally be artistic conflicts that aren't resolved.  And if Gaga just isn't feeling that a collaboration is working, or she shifts direction, it's her right to decide against it.

So if Gaga and a particular collab that you happen to want end up not working, it's not going to be entirely Gaga's fault. It takes two to work together and communicate.   People who continuously throw all the blame on Gaga in these situations either don't understand the artistic process, or are convinced that Gaga just needs to be controlled by the pop machine around her because they don't like her own artistic choices.  But the cat ( Gaga) is out of the bag.... Gaga took control around the BTW era and she's not going back in that box.  Maybe it's time for some of you to realize that the neophyte pop star Gaga that would do anything to get famous and do mostly what her handlers wanted is gone for good.  Her motivations are different at 30 than they were at 19.  She's a free bitch baby.

Interscope wont have anything to do with the album other than Promo and shouting expensive MVs :emma:

What are you even talking about? All he said is he doesn't like ARTPOP. It's not his style. And that he's unsure his songs will be part of LG5, and Gaga changed her mind about him being producer on lead. It's a simple case of what always happens, Gaga meets someone new, and does everything to please them, like she is with Mark, she did it with Zedd too. And Ryan and Tony. She gets so caught up in their collaborations, everything and everyone else disappears. Right now she's obsessed with Mark, for whatever reason, and everyone else has disappeared, no one else has her attention.

Yes they will. They always do. Gaga has talked about it multiple times. Just like she allowed Jimmy Iovine to pick Applause as lead for ARTPOP, and then when she had the dispute over Alejandro and Dance in the Dark as singles.

Yes they will, if Gaga makes an album that Interscope thinks will lose them more money than it'll make then they will block its release.

My guess...I'd say he was hoping for the release of the single, as prevs. scheduled, probably around last month. And ride on that success to boost his chances of dropping his own album. Lg5's lead single would have probably came last month, he was sure it was a hit..there would be much more interest in his work.

It seems that is part of his problem. Interscope involvment in all this is the biggest mistery. Was it her choice or not?

She doesn't seem to be a free biatch, at all. Let's hope she can free herself. Maybe it's better if she flops hard and they leave her.
