This fanbase ruins the experience of a pre-era and the era itself, because we are all so negative about everything.

We have always been negative though :toofunny:

In my messy era.

You obviously know **** about jazz music.

Not everything you can't shake your ass to is boring.

LMAO if someone says funk is boring they haven't heard much funk music either. God monsters need to expand their horizons

No really I want Gaga to have success so she can keep on making enormous tours, high budget music videos at least 4-5 singles per era. I want Gaga to have success so she can promote her art also.

"The thing is that some people here think that Gaga can do whatever she wants cause she owes nothing to the public... :awkney: She owes everything to everyone who's ever bought an album of hers or gone to her shows... So she can't just pull off a Bjork-esque release and be all happy..."

I was writing this when I saw your post, thank you sis for reading my mind :emma:

You're welcome lol, I really wouldn't want Gaga to become like Xtina, talented but flopping.

Uptown Funk is not the only sound Mark Ronson can create, just look at his entire discography. And just because he's working with Gaga, doesn't mean her music will sound like that. Look at RedOne's work with her and his other production. It's Gaga's music and she's now a co-producer of her albums.

Remember when she collaborated with David Guetta ? Fashion! came out of that and it doesn't sound like the typical Guetta song (We also never knew about this collaboration until the album was released, can you imagine the meltdowns on these forums?)

She works with a lot of people and she's the one who has the final word on what a song will sound like, so just chill.

Stop whinging. We're getting an album that's being produced by the best the music business has to offer.

No we don't. Gaga should just make the right type of music.

Right? As if back to black sounds like adeles music or Lily allens music. He did songs with Lana and tame impala he's obviously versatile and Gaga and him obviously have come across a sound together

But are you maybe starting to catch on that Gaga doesn't want to do huge mega pop videos anymore? I understand that you all want a certain type of success for her but I don't think that's how she wants to succeed anymore. She's moving on to something new, I think you guys need to prepare yourself for that and respect her for it.

And also, we're always shocked by Gaga's work with everyone? Not really. Zedd's stuff left me bored and unmoved, as did the stuff with Kendrick Lamar as did Jewels N Drugs. I find Gaga x Garibay to move me the most. Fernando might just be more dance-centric and create those 80s style songs, but there's a lot of soul to what he creates, much more soulful than anything Mark has done, people say Mark's work with Amy is soulful, not really, it was just part of a huge marketing coup back then.

I was speaking generally -- Gaga tends to pull the best out of the producers she works with. All of her work with Zedd and Madeon are unfortunately recycled beats, but I imagine that a lot of Act II (the 'experimental' side) songs were great and unique. Jewels N Drugs is fantastic production-wise, I just wish the song had more Gaga.

Gaga and Garibay are the best and it would be hard to top BTW (the album), but I imagine Gaga and DJWS could be equally moving if Gaga has more free reign this time around.

I'm not here for productions like Adele and Amy and Lily. I was here for a dark pop dance beat tbh.
