Being The Countess reaffirmed the dark image that everyone grew to love and maybe the stuff she had planned before didn't fit that niche, disco inspired pop hits doesn't scream dark and edgy. It's frustrating to think that she was committed to a pop return, and then never saw it through. It's like we were so close but so far. But, but but - we must have faith in Gaga. I trust that she knows what she's doing and whilst I don't like what I'm hearing, I do believe that this is for the best. Mark has obviously really impacted her. Interscope already made the mistake of trying to replicate the success of her early pop hits. Who knows, it just might be that we have to thank them for forcing Gaga to go a different route.
