RedOne said the stuff they came up with was like the songs they've done in the past. I don't want that. I have her old albums, I love them and can enjoy them whenever I like. Time for her to move forwards and offer up something new.

She already tried to cling to dance-pop/EDM trends with ARTPOP, and look how that turned out. I don't know why fans are so eager to box Gaga into one sound and are so terrified by the idea of her progressing into new territories. Mark is an incredibly versatile producer. We have no idea what this album is going to sound like, so I'm confused by the assumptions.

I don't understand why people think RedOne = hit. When was the last legitimate hit that he produced? 2012?

Personally, I would LIVE, die and then get resurrected if we got a Gaga version of something like Uptown Funk, it's fresh for her and I'd LOVE to see how she would interpret a classic funk song with her visuals. That's also why it's exciting, I don't really want to see something that I know she can do well (and LBR, RedOne's newer tracks are quite underwhelming) Gaga is known for unpredictability and for changing things up everytime and I really would like to see that get reflected in LG5. 

Just my opinion tho. 

I'm not excited for mark ronson's work on LG5 but i'm not disappointed either.

I'm just curious to see what they've done together and i hope for the best result.

I'm not happy about him just because it's a new collaboration, zedd was a new collab too and i hardly liked his songs on AP. I'm pretty sure tho that her songs with RedOne will be killers.

People who are complaining or worried about about a change in direction obviously have never done anything actually artistic in their lives (of quality, at least). Making art isn't always about posting/releasing/promoting/exhibiting/performing the first thing you finish.

When you see/hear a finished piece of art or music, it's usually not the artist's first attempt at creating that piece. The artistic process often involves throwing out a lot out to get to the finished product...it's called being discerning lol
