DiscoHeaven23 35,007 Posted May 31, 2016 Share Posted May 31, 2016 Hits Double Daily has released the predictions for album sales this week and it looks like Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman will be selling less in its second week than Meghan Trainor's Thank You did in its second week. And it actually looks like Dangerous Woman and Thank You will be selling about the same this week (Thank You is in its third week). Thank You sold 24K albums in its second week And DW is predicted to sell 19K to 22K And Thank You is expected to sell 14K to 17K this week. Its somewhat puzzling because Dangerous Woman outsold Thank You by 40k albums in its debut week. Perhaps this illustrates Ariana's loyal fanbase who all buy the album the first week and a lack of support for the GP to support the album in following weeks. And perhaps it illustrates Meghan's lack of a loyal fanbase, but a GP that will consistently buy her album week to week for various reasons. They both have there strengths and weaknesses. Ariana appeals to a younger crowd that streams. Meghan appeals to the old gonna die soon crowd in nursing homes.
