Oh she finally has done something again? About time! Let's face it, she needs to step it all up. The comparison is tired but just look at Azealia Banks and her live shows and then this... Azealia is a destructive mess to the bone from time to time but she has the flow, the stage presence and the God given talent to spit, Iggy does not. That's not a read or trying to rile up the Iggy fans (*cough* Lance *cough*) but that's just what it is. And it doesn't even necessarily have to be a bad thing, if only Iggy would put in the work to at least make up for what she lacks in flow and singing talent with her stage presence and choreo. She's not spitting hard at all, she should be able to do the all the moves together with the four girls and do it passionately. Even the two backing singers went harder during Team than Iggy did. That new first part (I guess that's the remix) of Team is a thousand times better than the actual song by the way, I hope she recognizes that and her new record can produce at least one new big hit. She really needs it because the mainstream success with Fancy is really fading... She comes across as too laid back, I can't really see much hunger and ambition in her tbh. She had one massive hit and two well-known singles and it's like "here's my set, thank you guys!". That doesn't equal the massive career she was predicted to have. When Nicki came out, she hopped on every feature and grinded until she was a solid name, Iggy doesn't do that at all anymore. All of the people she featured with are all on their next album (Ariana, Britney, JLo, Tinashe, Rita Ora, Charli XCX...) and Iggy's got Team. Which didn't really hit anything and she's resting on laurels she doesn't even have...
