Like you run a zoo...
Seeka 12,372
There are two fronts to blame here. 1. The zoo. There are many reasons for the fault to be blamed upon them. First are the enclosures. If a child can get through the enclosure by pure accident, then that is something that needs to be dealt with. Secondly, they're animals are not accustomed to humans. While not all zoos could do that, if your gonna have such animals like apes near humans, you should do that. They also need stronger tranquilizers. While I am sure that someone earlier said tranquilizers worked in minutes, I'm sure an upped dosage would work in seconds. 2. The parents. They should be charged with negligence. While you can't watch them every second (I know, with more than five pairs of eyes on a child they can still get lost) in such a place like a zoo, you should be watching your child closely, more than usual. Not just because of animal, but kidnapping attempts and the such. While the kid could've been mature enough to know not to go towards the animals or something, neither the child or gorilla are at fault. It is unfortunate the gorilla had to die. AlexanderLevi2 5,849
i just feel so bad for animals... What makes their life less important than a human life? That's why I stay the hell away from zoos. It's fine for there to be safe animal havens but zoos are just disgusting. You are turning animal life into a paid museum Currently listening to Joanne
weed 79,146
idiot parents I'm so pressed Some gorillas are already in zoos (which are usually terrible living standards anyways) so they're protected from poachers and other hunters, endangered, and now bc some child fell into their cage they're murdered. AddMeOnMYSPACE 2,097
poor gorilla, can't do anything about it though. Idk why everyone's getting mad at the mom too! Sh!t happens! Not every mother is perfect, I just hope she watches her child more closely now.
