KyliesChild 16,907
Ok, so I think it would be cool that out of the blue, the Yves Saint Laurent YouTube channel uploads a video in the aesthetic of one of their videos below: And I said YSL because it's Gaga's favorite brand at the moment. So then there is a video uploaded to her ”Lady Gaga" channel singing another snippet of the single like this video of Gaga playing the piano to ARTPOP and talking about sexuality. However, she talks about her new creative process and her evolution. *The snippets are completely different, and questions what sounds the album will have. On July 12, it is then announced that Gaga is headlining the Global Citizens Festival. A new article on a new issue of V Magazine approaches, and it will s about her lead single. V uploads a short film of her and whoever the producer is and they show the making of the new song. Coca-Cola then uploads an advertisement of Gaga with a bottle that says a line in the song and then the song on a Friday around the beginning of August is released on iTunes and streaming apps such as Spotify and Apple Music. The music video is uploaded on Vevo at noon that same day. The LG5 era than commences....
Didymus 34,379
"alternate snippet" Cue Swinefest-esque meltdowns when the official version gets out tho Let's make that a real snippet. I like it tho. Except for Coca Cola That's just too cheap.

That commercial was shown a lot on ABC and other channels and made the song more popular. If that campaign gets as big as the "Share a coke with *insert name here*”, it would increase the popularity of the LG5 lead, too.

Sid 6,755
I think if she's gonna release snippets she should do snippets of the lead single music video no audio...since it seems to be her thing ( ) and everyone will be having meltdowns about what the music will sound like...it would cause so much discussion and hype! and Coca Cola? If she goes that route she should do Pepsi... ...ıllıllı c h e r r y c h e r r y b o o m b o o m ıllıllı...

I don't know, was there really a link established between that commercial and the success of Applause? If so many other artists don't need stuff like that to hit big then I'd rather Gaga didn't try all that. She claims she doesn't care about commercial success and singles bs, has officially taken distance from her previous money-hungry management, now it's the time to show she's sticking to her guns and focusing on the music and the quality of it. The Telephone soda cans hairstyle with Coca-Cola 4. This commercial:

The Telephone soda cans hairstyle with Coca-Cola I doubt she has much of a deal with them, Coca Cola seems to be much more about supporting smaller new music acts than big names. There are lots of different artists with their lyrics on Coke cans this summer. Pepsi's usually the company that goes after more iconic names for its advertising. I'd rather see her in a Pepsi commercial though too, because icons do Pepsi commercials and Coca-Cola has well- Taylor Swift (however her success can lead her to be one, but that's not the discussion). And if she has a Pepsi deal Gaga can do the Halftime show at the Super Bowl!

I didn't say it affected it in a way that it helped it go higher on the charts, however popularity wise (as in people knowing the song) it helped a lot. Gaga can say that all she wants, but her management, her fans do and herself too because it spreads a message. She wouldn't put Applause on loop and tell many fans to request TIHTY on the radio station if she didn't. Coca-Cola is a huuuge brand, and it helps the song become popular; making most of us, her, Coca-Cola happy. And remember that all hits today are the ones that you can make Vines to, and are catchy. So the Coca-Cola endorsement helps.

Well, I agree that in the past she's been very ambiguous about it, but an optimistic fan like myself could attribute that to the influence of her label etc. I guess We'll see Your scenario is a lot more logical tho. It's probably what will go down.
