Honestly I am really bored with being a Gaga fan since (other than AHS,the superbowl and oscar perf) she hasnt done anything interesting in like 2,5-3 years. But let's wait and see what she does

You're bored with Gaga other than an entire television show where she was featured in majority of the episodes and two opportunities of a musician's lifetime that solidified her talent to groups of fans who may have previously written her off?

Over 100 million people watched the Super Bowl when she performed. That's huge. With AHS you got to see Gaga perform once a week for three months on television- and she actually did a good job. The Oscars performance featured Gaga showing off a singing style we haven't seen her take on, and she spent a long time practicing to do it so well. And that's not enough? That's not interesting enough?

I get you want new Gaga music (that isn't Jazz) - we all do. But the things she's been doing in the meantime are pretty darn impressive if you ask me.

For me it's the same when she's performing in front of 5000 people,2.000.000 and 30.000.000 (the only difference is that she prepares better for the performances that are "important").It's about the performance, not the hype. And 2 performances and 1 TV show is really not enough for 2,5 years :p The point is to enjoy what an artist does.

I understand you may be frustrated but be patient!

She is in a MUCH happier state of mind nowadays compared to a few years ago, she's making new music, not to mention the AMAZING year she had in 2015, not to forget the incredible start to this year!!

Even though the wait for LG5 may seem long, just remember that good things come to those that wait. 🤘🏼🐛

I still feel like it's expecting too much from Gaga. I mean, Katy release Prism in 2013 and what's she done since then leading up to her next album? (I don't mean that as a diss on Katy or flamebait, just pointing out how people seem to hold those artists to different standards)

I mean, since Gaga's last album in 2013 we've gotten great performances, another album (C2C), a flippin' TV show, Woman of the Year, a released clothing/accessory line, a Golden Globe, a fashion film with Tom Ford, she walked in a fashion show, we got the 16 different covers of V Magazine, a Bowie Tribute, Jane Ortner Artist award...do I need to go on and on? Yet here you are- bored. It's a damn shame.

Katy was releasing singles and videos til late 2014 if I am right..

Also I personally didn't enjoy Bowie Tribute,I don't care about magazine covers or her winning a golden globe and I don't like jazz or TIHTY... I don't choose what I enjoy.I became a fan because of her real style and her original music! And I really wouldn't have a problem if LG5 is not totally pop, I just want her music which is what I love her for. I couldn't care less about Gaga covers of songs from the 1920s or a Diane Warren written song that is uninteresting af.

The OP is pretty wrong here. Many celebrities have started in one career and successfully crossed over into others. Will Smith started out in music and now he's better known for his acting. JLo is iconic in both movies and music.

If you remember, Gaga was a theater girl before she pursued music. She's a natural performer with multiple talents, so she can actually pull it off.

I understand you're frustrated and you have a right to be so, but the way you're addressing it is so wrong.

We're all eager for new music and the wait sometime does feel like eternity, but if your life is based around her that much and what she does that's more your problem than hers.

Sure, all the cover and jazz performances are starting to get old after all, but at least she's doing something instead of absolutely nothing at all.

In the meanwhile, go listen to Sia and try to lighten up. It's not that serious.

Gaga is doing what she wants.  I'm happy for her.  She is in the best place ever, as she has gained the respect of a great many who hated her or just didn't understand her or didn't know she is so talented.  And most importantly, she's happy.    That need repeating; most importantly, she's happy.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Find something that makes you happy... or a therapist to discuss why you're so dependent of a ****ing pop star.

Guys the things that some of you are saying to the OP is ridiculous :wtf: prescriptions? Therapy? Come on! SlayGagaloo is frustrated -- like we all are -- and just wants Gaga to be clear with us. Her relationship with monsters has changed for seemingly no reason and it's bothering a lot more people than just the OP.

Gaga is building her career and establishing her legacy the way she wants to.

She should stop calling us little monsters because she "knows what kind of music we want from her"? Who are you to speak for all fans? The people who care about her and trust her intelligence will want her to make the music that represents who she is as a person. She's not your performing monkey.

Then you say she's wrong for telling us nothing about LG5 and giving us "fake hope," when she HAS been dropping things that can give hints about how the album will sound- just look through her Instagram at the people she's worked with, musical interests she's posting about, etc.
And it's odd you would be mad at her for giving us "fake hope" and not saying enough when you go on to say "She kept throwing idea after idea after idea until people were simply confused and done with her"
Appreciate the subtle hints she's given and realize maybe she's less open with us for LG5 because being open with us backfired on ARTPOP.
