Morphine Prince 109,977 Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 Based on the fact that the Democratic nominating process is totally rigged and Crooked Hillary Clinton and Deborah Wasserman Schultz will not allow Bernie Sanders to win, and now that I am the presumptive Republican nominee, it seems inappropriate that I would debate the second place finisher. Likewise, the networks want to make a killing on these events and are not proving to be too generous to charitable causes, in this case, women’s health issues. socotra 3,357 Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 I think a lot of people have underestimated Trump... it went from "He'll be out in a week, he couldn't win" to "Jeb/Cruz/Rubio/Carson/Fiorina'll stop him" to "Cruz/Rubio/Carson'll stop him" to "Cruz/Rubio'll stop him" to "Cruz'll stop him, he won't be the nominee" to being the nominee. Would not be surprised if all of America's closet racists pushed him into the White House. Not to mention that Hillary Clinton being a polarizing figure helps him considerably. If the Democrats had a stronger candidate (and not even Bernie, more of a 2008-Obama-unifier), then there wouldn't be a question, but too many people dislike Clinton.
