Sanders: Clinton showing 'tinge of arrogance'

Bernie Sanders said his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton's recent assertions that she will be the party's nominee show arrogance on her part. 

Appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday night, Sanders was shown an interview clip of Clinton saying that she will be the Democratic nominee. 

“Just a tinge of arrogance there, I think,” Sanders responded. 

The Vermont senator then referred to recent primaries in Oregon and West Virginia, where he won, and Kentucky, where the two were extremely close. 

"I kind of think that on June 7, the people of California will have a message for Secretary Clinton," he said.

He also hit Clinton for turning down a California debate, calling it "insulting" to the state's residents.

No lies. She's presumptively declared herself the nominee already, with California (a state with a population greater than Canada) that has yet to cast their vote. It implies that their vote wont matter - which true or not - is arrogant and slimy af.

What he's saying is ironic. He has not been respectful towards voters at all. He's been dismissing the voters while claiming to have the people on his side. Also, he's been trying to justify himself being a better candidate by saying that the ones in the South don't matter. What makes him have any right to claim that Clinton thinks California doesn't matter, when it technically doesn't according to optics?

Hillary almost has the nomination. Why is it arrogant to say that she will be the nominee? If the race was tighter, then California would have the deciding vote. As it stands, the people have favored Clinton by 57% to 43% and the polls don't show any potentially major upcoming victories to Sanders. Perhaps if he didn't ignore minorities and the Southern states he'd be the nominee and we'd all be supporting him. His campaign has been a mixed bag of good successes and horrible failures.

He can stand to stop calling Clinton arrogant and look at himself. He's being arrogant by claiming he still has a shot when he doesn't. That's what arrogance is as opposed to Hillary being quite realistic about the outcome. She conceded to Obama as soon as it became clear he was ahead in delegates despite her leading in popular vote. Sanders wants to go all the way to the convention despite being behind in both in order to overturn the popular vote in a display of hypocrisy regarding his supposed values and beliefs.
