Hey y'all, so I'm in a collegiate a cappella group at my school (think Pitch Perfect but not as wild :green:)....and I want to arrange a Lady Gaga song for us to perform. Our group is actually the LGBTQIA advocacy group so Born This Way is the obvious answer...but at the same time it's a little too obvious IMO. Here are the songs that I've arranged so far (click on each arrangement's title to listen to it):

Spoiler

Come On Eileen (Dexy’s Midnight Runners)

Little Medley of Horrors (Alan Menken and Howard Ashman)

You Da One (Rihanna)

Send My Love (To Your New Lover) (Adele)

Run Run Run (Celeste Buckingham)

The Four Seasons Medley -- includes Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, Can't Keep My Eyes Off You, December 1963 (Oh What a Night)

I’m an (Un)Believer (American Authors, Vampire Weekend, The Monkees) -- this one is a mashup of Believer, Unbelievers, I'm a Believer

Helpless (Lin-Manuel Miranda) -- from the musical Hamilton

Pretty Girl Rock (Keri Hilson)

7 Years (Luke Graham)

Wavin’ Flag (K’naan)

Wings (Little Mix)

And here are the songs that we performed this past year:

Spoiler

Perfect (Pink)

The Chain (Ingrid Michaelson)

Do It Like a Dude (Jessie J)

Bottom of the River (Hootathon)

You Da One (Rihanna)

Good Thing (Sam Smith)

Pretty Girl Rock (Keri Hilson)

Runnin’ (Lose It All) (Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin)

7 Years (Lukas Graham)

We are a co-ed group with some fantastic soloists, so vocally we can do most of her songs. Also it doesn't have to be one of her singles, people do obscure-ish songs all the time. Thanks everyone  (also I'll take non-Gaga suggestions if you guys know any songs that are great for a cappella)

Start with Hair go into Marry The Night with undertones of Gypsy, go into TEOG into The Queen into HwyUni Into Born This Way

Basically, the negative of having disapproval, the balls to move forward and be you, moving out, being free and happy now that you've she's your chains, moving forward to spread your message and love

Scheiße tbh. If you need convincing, head to the audio section and listen to the acapella! The vocals have a lot of layers perfect for a choir.

Bloody Mary does as well!

EDIT: I forgot scheiße was a curse word for a second :neyde:

I think for now I'm just looking for one song rather than a medley (these both sound great though!)

We sang the non-radio version of "F*ckin' Perfect" by Pink and another group did Runaway by Kanye so it's all fair game

Alright, so I'm probably either gonna do TEOG, MANiCURE, or Hair because those would all be the easiest. Bloody Mary would be great if we were bigger/more advanced tbh
