I'm not giving you a reason to project your **** on me, my thread was perfectly unambiguous and I explained my intention multiple times throughout. The thread wasn't about putting Gaga on the spot, it was about realizing a double standard: neither Gaga nor Katy should be judged for engaging in some pretty harmless "shade". How is that trying to have a Gaga shade match? The only reason I had to comment on my opinions on Gaga at all was because idiots started to actually talk about the examples as if they mattered

Because it was bound to get personal, which it didn't. Presenting a straightforward example that is a sound foundation for the way I look at Gaga is not going personal, and so it has nothing to do at all with your reasons for wanting to end the conversation.

just try to accept that your "sound" way of looking at gaga's action is not the ultimate, "true" way. you can't accept that she's not thinking of her fans as big mass on which she can capitalize? fine. you can't accept that there are fans whose relation to gagz is rooted in a more emotional, transcendent, and "unrealistic" level? fine.

then don't make me continue a futile discussion.

Like I have clearly stated: I think her comments about her fans come from a genuine place, but she's still capitalizing on them in the end and didn't seem to have a major problem with that in the past (cue the ultimate Applause example). So no, I don't think that Gaga thinks of her fans as a big mass on which she can capitalize, and I've never said that either. I always presented the idea of it being a mix of a genuine intention (literally said that in my first post of the discussion already) and a commercial benefit on her part which is actively being employed.

I never said my view was more realistic than any other either. I was asked to expand on my opinion, so I did. That's it. I offered a very straightforward example (which you've desperately ignored for two pages now) to keep you guys from acting like I was just making **** up for no reason. that's the thing: your example is straightforward/sound to you, according to your logic and your view. we view it, whether it's this thread trying to prove that gagz/katy is not shady in a reverse way or your capitalist applause argument, from another perspective.

I think Gaga and Katy knew that they are not compatible while ago when Katy said "She's Lady Gaga. She's like MAdonna but better" and Gaga was like "WTF are you saying?!?!?". They don't hate each other, Katy knows Gaga it's in another level but she doesn't like that she's kinda hypocrite (Katy knows Gaga better than us since they used to hang out a lot), Gaga knows that Katy it's more pop-ish...more general public... she doesn't like her "art" but she's like "do your thing, I would kinda respect that..except when you cross the line". So there's no "hate" but they are always hot 'n' cold with each other.
Gaga never hated Britney or Xtina, but probably didn't liked Bionic :P and she will not do lip synch but she doesn't care Britney does it.
The only artist that every other female pop star seems to unlike as a person it's Madonna. They always say "she's the queen of pop " "it's a honor working with her" but they never say a nice thing about her personality (I can see why ... she's the wicked queen of pop ._. )
