Dude I have repeated over and over that I think Gaga's fan behavior comes from a genuine place. If you still don't get it, then fine, but don't continue to swing that at me when that's just not what I wrote.

I'm not trying to generalize because I'm failing to come up with alternative categories. An alternative category would've been: "she's just kidding", or "she likes to be shady for fun". Every single category you had was negative, even the humorous ones weren't neutral. That's how you know a thread is disingenuine.

I think she was just standing up for herself and her art since most of these come across as responses to what others said about her or when they shaded or copied her. After all, what I think is obvious by all this, whether it's shade or not, this just proves how much she contradicts herself and how not everything she says should be taken seriously. It's just clear by now

I don't get why I'm put on the spot because of my comments about Gaga. I gave a very unambiguous example of her ripping off her fans, for which she was bashed in all directions by journalists and critics. A lot of fans like to believe that the ARTPOP media backlash was completely irrational, but they forget that the main response came from Gaga's extremely off-putting commercial tactics in contrast to the message she was promoting.

Which indeed included her engaging in a meet and greet competition in which fans had to buy her latest single multiple times to even be eligible. Do you not think that's proof that she doesn't mind capitalizing on her fans' connection? As I said: I do think that most of what she says comes from a genuine place, but that does not mean she isn't capitalizing on her fans nonetheless. it's not a judgment of her character, it's just a very obvious observation.

i think you were dishonest when you stated your intention with this thread: it wasn't a genuine attempt to prove me wrong, it was a disingenuine way to create a thread in which you can shade gagz on her own fansite. you were capitalizing on my thread.
