You know, it's one thing to be successful and have number one hits and great sales.

But when your rude and nasty to your peers, it shows how insecure she really is. What's wrong with caring for your fans?

I'd rather sell less records and make no number one singles but have a fan base that are by my side unconditionally than be a horrible person with a successful career ANYDAY.

some "monsters" think that gaga's relationship with her fans/her attitude during BTW was cheesy, fake, and cringeworthy. i think they simply don't understand that lives were saved because of the lovely things she said, sang, wrote, and did. disregarding that is shocking to me.

Anyway, I personally don't even care. I just find the whole situation hilarious and I'm just defending Katy, because I can already feel this whole fanbase ganging up on her for absolutely no reason.

Don't get me wrong though, I love Katy Perry but I just don't think Gaga was that antagonistic towards Katy Perry with the statement made at SXSW.

The mechanical horses tweet was shade imo, but Katy has shaded Gaga before, so let's forget that since they're generally on friendly terms.

I'm having a hard time figuring her out, but I ended up voting for her weird sense of humour. I think she is sometimes pressed about Gaga, but she handles it well. Like she does take the usual jab from time to time, but she also admires her. The main key difference between them - Gaga always takes herself seriously and she is really passionate about her art, always trying to push boundaries. Perry, on the other hand, wants to make it seem like it's superficial and for the sake of entertainment only. And more often than not, she is exactly this - acting  like a parody in the entertainment industry, not taking herself too seriously. But I can feel it's a result of her seeing the truth beneath. I mean maybe she doesn't feel like Gaga trying to change the status quo in the industry. But she is well aware of it, of the pop music, of the puppet girls and so on. But she is like f*ck it, imma exploit it and be the clown. At least, this is what I'm inclined to believe. I can relate to the way she is doing some of these things. She is a Scorpio, right? It's the opposite of Aries, I mean Scorpios are shady, and are the best at hiding their true feelings, they have so many layers, but almost never expose them. And they do know how to suggest in the slightest way the truth while making it seem like it's something totally different, with a good amount of humour or irony even satire. Aries are super direct. So I guess in those comments she does hint about a sort of rivalry with Gaga, but to her it's only within the limits of entertainment, that's why she i just being humorous and shady, not directly adressing it. She is, however, super amibitous and aims high, and probably knows she'll never be on Gags level.

not just with gaga but in general, i think katy is a REALLY insecure person. You can tell just by the things she says. She says things in really awkward non confident ways.
