Illuminati 15,942
At least the woman on the left isn't unemployed so regardless of whether the job is hard and poorly paid it could be worse.
Sexxx 5,647
Apparently the workers are getting paid more than the minimum wage so I don't see what the problem is You gays are still wearing Nike attire so I don't see why you have the right to criticise Bey specifically

RAMROD 109,807
Then again many companies did it too. I.E: Apple who pay low but long and arduous working hours for their iPhone & iPad assembly in China And lotsa more. Bear 7,515
It would be naive to treat this like it the only case of sweatshop production to exist, but it does make it particularly ironic that the clothing stands for "empowerment". Nevertheless, the team behind this have stated that all the worker are paid well above the minimum wage, and if that wage isn't sufficient to live on then the blame should be more heavily put on Sri Lanka's government, not the team behind this and especially not Beyonce. That is probably why this gets so much hate too, it has a face at the front of the project to blame. It's harder to blame other big companies that do the same because they don't have a face. RAMROD 109,807
Probelem is that is the main reason why big companies didn't produce their stuffs locally anymore, because elsewhere, especially Asia and Latin America, the fees for human resources are wayyyyy lower than what they will pay in their own countries because places like Europe, USA< Canada, have better systems for labor and so pay are higher, which is not economical for these companies to do otherwise they would have to hike the selling price and costumers don't like that.
