Pop 4,541
No. Last time around Gaga had no manager that was taking care of her and that's why the whole release was a mess. Now she's more stable and has a great team that will avoid crap like that. Besides, if she does manage to outsell Katy it would be a great "comeback" story. Bear 7,515
No, I'm waiting for the music not sales figures. I hope she does commercially well and gets success, but that is all just a bonus to the experience.
Angel Down 2,807
I lowkey hope Gaga slays Katy this time... This will be the best revenge tbh. I still can't forget how terrible those wars on fb and twitter were. But I all want is good music by Gaga, even if it sells 87 copies. I want it to be eternal and timeless. I'd rather she flopped than have huge success with an album I'll never get into
AnnTakamaki 6,869
No, i'm here for good music not the chart. As long as Bobby got good strategy and Gags sever quality we will be fine i rather flop with good music and Gags happy making it than a top chart song that make she unhappy and tired of music

Luc 4,775
I don't want Gaga to release her album near Katy's yet again. Should be at least 2 months apart imo, same with lead single (3 months would be better). I want Gaga to shine and become the most important acts wherever she's performing. Not a fan of katy at all, but her music is catchy. And just because music is "catchy" that's what makes it good? That's dumb thinking. Iwontell 7,312
Not really... I guess the only ppl worried by that prospect are ppl who care (almost) exclusively about charts and sales...if they release in the same quarter, of course they'll be pitted against each other and they know that...and Katy is more likely to do better on charts, sales, reviews (yes, reviews, that's what critics do when it comes to pop music: they find reasons to justify one's success or demise)...but, I don't care about any of that, cuz my opinion just doesn't depend on it... I'm just excited to see what she does next. I hope it's good. She knows how to write a good hook and a catchy chorus, we've all seen that, most of us are here BC of that...and I loved Ronson's "Uptown Special", so I'm really happy that's she's working with someone that can "style" her songs in a way that's dance-y and sexy, but still elegant and "out of the box"...I really think he can veer Gaga to a nice direction... I'm so here for Gaga's songs sounding like Ronson's "In case of fire", just a really sexy mix of funk, rock, jazz...that and some nice, well conceived visuals would make me very, very happy! ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Lots of us don't, but unfortunately a lot of people do, including media, who always cling to the popular albums and then tear down those who don't have popular hit albums. I don't want to see Gaga torn down yet again just because her album quote unquote is a flop just because it sells less than an album by katy purposely made for mass market appeal. ModernEcstasy 8,995
I voted yes. Do I believe that Katy will have better music? No! Do I think Katy is more talented than Gaga? No! Do I believe that the industry and the Media are corrupted and influence the GP? Yes! I have faith in Gaga. But I do not have faith in the system.
