The night before Christina did a beautiful duet with Alyson (her contestant that won) of "You've Got a Friend" and it was beautiful. Also, she won a Grammy for her last released song that was a duet, "Say Something." Neither one of these duets was a duel.

She used to be on Broadway. Ariana knows how to articulate words, she just chooses not to. I guess it is a stylistic choice.
