LebaneseDude 6,146
Via The Hill Bernie Sanders on Monday night said it’s “a little bit insulting” to California voters that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton refuses to debate him ahead of the state’s primary. “I was disturbed, but not surprised that Secretary Clinton has backed out of the debate,” Sanders said at a rally in Santa Monica, Calif., ahead of the delegate-rich June 7 primary. “I think it’s a little bit insulting to the people of California — our largest state — that she is not prepared to have a discussion with me about how she will help the Californians address the major crises that we face,” he continued. Prior to his rally, Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri sent out a statement about the former secretary of State’s decision to decline to debate Sanders. LebaneseDude 6,146
Bernie... I think it's insulting to California voters to assume they'd gain anything from a debate at Faux News. Megyn Kelly to Bernie: Do you like apple pie? Megyn Kelly question to Hillary: Hillary, do you think that Bernie being a Socialist Jew will hurt him more in the general election than your, based on your accusers who paint you as a shrill, being an establishment politician, who enabled your husband to rape women in addition to your taking so much money for speeches you won't release? I'd love if someone took the intentions behind his ideas and made them happen. He's been a good influence on Hillary. At this point though I don't see the benefit in continuing to go negative. JevyDuty 2,961
He's trying to nuke her. He knows his only way of winning at this point is all dependant on Hillary crashing and burning. So he's trying to help push her get there by getting on her damn nerves and hoping she blows up and says something stupid. At least that's my two cents. That's the only "good" explanation I have. All the other options would imply Bernie is not who he says he is. I'll give the "Democrat" the benefit of the doubt, for now.
FATCAT 60,967
How's this negative? I try to understand your position here, LebaneseDude, but all I see is a buzzfeed worthy title aimed to discredit Bernie. This kitten over here (meow)

Not elevate the issues or focus on his moribund campaign. Instead, his focus is on tearing her down. If that's not "going negative" then what is? He's coming across like a sore losers to his nonfans and even some his voters. http://m.dailykos.com/story/2016/05/19/1528529/-Sanders-Camp-will-Burn-It-Down-to-hurt-Hillary

How is it not negative to release an ad saying that Clinton is insulting California? The entire point of this ad is to criticize Hillary's response and try to build on it. Please tell me how it's not negative, even if it may or may not be correct? Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

It's why I've stopped going too negative on Bernie directly recently. He's doing the work for me It's a bittersweet victory of sorts. I dislike people losing respect for their idols. Morphine Prince 109,983
Enjoy Bernie now, this is nothing to what Trump will say and do very soon. You Clintonites better prepare yourselves.

I wonder why people ignore that flipflop Trump is a known enemy. People won't be fazed. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
